What is UPPER BODEGA?
UPPER BODEGA is a clean-label convenience store offering a carefully curated selection of food, beverages, and personal care products that are free from harmful chemicals, preservatives, refined sugars, seed oils, and artificial flavors. Our mission is to provide customers with access to healthier, more natural alternatives to the conventional products found in most grocery stores.

What do you do with unsold items?
We are committed to minimizing waste. Unsold items that are still safe to consume or use are donated to local charities or food banks. If products are approaching their expiry date, we may offer them at a discounted price to ensure they don’t go to waste.

Why can’t I checkout?
This is likely due to cart requirements not being meant. To complete your order, your subtotal (including any discounts) must be above $30. If your subtotal is above this and you are still having issues please email us.

How does preorder work?
Add your desired items to the cart and checkout. Please note the estimated delivery date in the product description dropdown. Orders containing pre order items will ship once the preorder item is available.

Why was my order canceled?
We're sorry to hear that your order was canceled. This could have happened for several reasons, including that your delivery address is outside our service zone, mismatched postal code/CVV information, a flagged card, or a previous chargeback on the account. If you have any questions or believe there has been a mistake, please contact us so we can assist you.

Can I cancel my order after it’s been placed?
Yes, you can cancel your order as long as it hasn't been processed for shipping. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or make changes to your order.

How do I place an order?
Placing an order is simple. Visit our website, enter your postal code, browse our curated selection, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout. Once your order is placed, you’ll receive a confirmation email, and we'll begin processing it.

When will my order arrive?
If you select express delivery, your order will arrive within the hour. For all other orders, please refer to the highlighted green box for delivery date information specific to your postal region. You’ll receive an email with tracking information once your order is on its way. You can also track your order status through your UPPER BODEGA account.

How do I receive updates regarding my order delivery time/date?
You will receive a text asking to confirm your estimated delivery time and date. If the suggested delivery time does not work for you, you may respond to the message to arrange another time. You will also receive emails when your order is out for delivery, along with when it has been delivered. 

I can't accept packages at home. Do you have any pickup spots?
Currently, we do not offer any pickup options. If you’re unable to receive packages at home, we suggest arranging for delivery to a trusted neighbor or friend’s address.

What days of the week do you deliver?
We deliver every day of the week, Monday through Sunday. However, service days may be limited in certain areas.

How much is delivery?
Delivery costs vary, with a fee of $2.99 for orders below the minimum requirement and $6.99 for express delivery. The exact delivery fee will be calculated at checkout.

My order contains refrigerated items, will it be fine if left outside for a couple of hours?
While deliveries are designed to stay cold during transit, we cannot guarantee the safety of refrigerated products if left unattended for an extended period. To maintain food quality and safety standards, we highly recommend placing orders with refrigerated or frozen items only on days when someone will be present to receive the delivery promptly. Please note that we do not provide ice packs or other cooling materials in the delivery packaging. We are not responsible for any loss or theft to packages that are left unattended.

What are your business hours?
Our delivery hours are 9am-9pm. Our customer service hours are Monday to Friday, 10 AM - 8 PM EST. Any messages received outside these hours will be responded to during the next business day.
