How does UPPER BODEGA minimize waste?

We are committed to minimizing waste by ordering in small batches to ensure freshness. Any unsold items that remain safe to consume or use are donated to local charities or food banks. Additionally, if products are approaching their expiry date, we may offer them at a discounted price to prevent waste.

How to Shop

How do I place an order?Placing an order is simple. Visit our website, enter your postal code, browse our curated selection, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout. Once your order is placed, you’ll receive a confirmation email, and we'll begin processing it.

How does preorder work?Add your desired items to the cart and checkout. Please note the estimated delivery date in the product description dropdown. Orders containing pre order items will ship once the preorder item is available.

Can I cancel my order after it’s been placed? Yes, you can cancel your order as long as it hasn't been processed for shipping. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or make changes to your order.

Does UPPER BODEGA have an order minimum?

We do! To complete your order, your subtotal (including any discounts) must be above $30. If your subtotal is above this and you are still having issues please email us.

Delivery

When will my order arrive?If you select express delivery, your order will arrive within the hour. For all other orders, please refer to the highlighted green box for delivery date information specific to your postal region. You’ll receive an email with tracking information once your order is on its way. You can also track your order status through your UPPER BODEGA account.

How do I receive updates regarding my order delivery time/date?You will receive a text asking to confirm your estimated delivery time and date. If the suggested delivery time does not work for you, you may respond to the message to arrange another time. You will also receive emails when your order is out for delivery, along with when it has been delivered.


Do you have a pickup spot?Currently, we do not offer any pickup options. Orders can be placed via our website or UberEats.


What days of the week do you deliver?We deliver every day of the week, Monday through Sunday. However, service days may be limited in certain areas.


How much is delivery?Delivery costs vary based on your location. In downtown Toronto, the fee is $2.99 for orders below $60 and free for orders of $60 or more. Express delivery in downtown Toronto is $6.99. For orders outside of downtown Toronto, a fee of $5.99 applies. The exact delivery fee will be calculated at checkout.

My order contains refrigerated items, will it be fine if left outside for a couple of hours?
While deliveries are designed to stay cold during transit, we cannot guarantee the safety of refrigerated products if left unattended for an extended period. To maintain food quality and safety standards, we highly recommend placing orders with refrigerated or frozen items only on days when someone will be present to receive the delivery promptly. Please note that we do not provide ice packs or other cooling materials in the delivery packaging. We are not responsible for any loss or theft to packages that are left unattended.

Why was my order canceled?
We're sorry to hear that your order was canceled. This could have happened for several reasons, including that your delivery address is outside our service zone, mismatched postal code/CVV information, a flagged card, or a previous chargeback on the account. If you have any questions or believe there has been a mistake, please contact us so we can assist you.
