2. What is the cutoff for scheduled delivery dates by zone?Please place your order by midnight the day before the scheduled delivery date to guarantee delivery.
3. What are your delivery hours?We deliver every day of the week, Monday through Sunday. However, service days may be limited in certain areas.
4. What if I am not home when the delivery arrives?
Please leave a note in the delivery comments on where to leave the order.
5. How long does express delivery take?Express delivery is 1 hour or less.
6. How do I know if express delivery or same-day delivery is offered in my region?If express delivery is offered, you will see it as an option during checkout. If same-day delivery is offered, it will be highlighted in the top-right corner of the screen.
7. My order contains refrigerated items, will it be fine if left outside for a couple of hours?While deliveries are designed to stay cold during transit, we cannot guarantee the safety of refrigerated products if left unattended for an extended period. To maintain food quality and safety standards, we highly recommend placing orders with refrigerated or frozen items only on days when someone will be present to receive the delivery promptly. Please note that we do not provide ice packs or other cooling materials in the delivery packaging.
8. Can I request a specific delivery time?You may provide a preferred delivery time in the comments section during checkout. However, please note that while we make every effort to accommodate such requests, we cannot guarantee that the requested time will be met. Delivery times are subject to availability and may be impacted by factors such as order volume, traffic conditions, and weather. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility regarding delivery schedules.
9. Do you offer free delivery?Delivery costs vary based on your location. In downtown Toronto, the fee is $2.99 for orders below $60 and free for orders of $60 or more. Express delivery in downtown Toronto is $6.99. For orders outside of downtown Toronto, a fee of $5.99 applies. The exact delivery fee will be calculated at checkout.
10. What is your delivery minimum order value?To complete your order, your subtotal (including any discounts) must be above $30.
11. What if I'm not in your delivery zone?
We are actively expanding our delivery regions! If you work or have friends or family living within our current delivery area, you can choose to have your order delivered to that address. If your delivery location has specific hours, please email us or leave a note, and we will coordinate a suitable delivery time with you.
12. When will my order arrive?
If you select express delivery, your order will arrive within the hour. For all other orders, please refer to the highlighted green box for delivery date information specific to your postal region. You’ll receive an email with tracking information once your order is on its way. You can also track your order status through your UPPER BODEGA account.
13. How do I receive updates regarding my order delivery time/date?
You will receive a text asking to confirm your estimated delivery time and date. If the suggested delivery time does not work for you, you may respond to the message to arrange another time. You will also receive emails when your order is out for delivery, along with when it has been delivered.
14. I received a delivery text but did not receive my order.
We require a confirmation response before delivering perishable items to ensure someone can refrigerate them promptly. If you did not respond or responded after our driver was already out for delivery, your order will be marked as rescheduled. Please respond at least 1-hour before for deliveries in downtown Toronto or 3 hours before for all other regions.
